Hello all you fellow knitwits out there! I found this smart little cookie of a knitting pattern recently and am so happy with it! I don't know about you, but I hate seaming knit pieces together. They just never look right and I've done kitchener stitches and other stitches but they all are just a pain. This wonderful pattern for a baby to toddler size bolero shrug is quick (as quick as knitting projects can get!) and seamless. I have modified it a little bit than the original pattern. The original says for finishing the sleeves to continue the increasing rows pattern but do a k1 p1 rib pattern for the sleeves. I ended up making additional YO's when I shouldn't have which was quite confusing. So I tried to make it more clear for myself in the re-write of this pattern.... enjoy!

I designed this red flower pattern for all the knitters out there! I was quite frustrated at how hard it was to find a good flower to knit, not crochet. This flower knit is seamless, one piece, and really quite stunning! Just click on the button below to get the flower and leaf PDF pattern e-mailed to you directly. Hi, found this pattern brilliant. I used a size 7 needle and followed smallest size to have a beautiful shrug for a baby dolly!!!
How wonderful this will I try it Thank you
Thanks for sharing, this is beautiful. Since I do not have any boys my niece is the one getting all pretty girly stuff...lol
I found this pattern to be a bit vague. What do I do after concentrating on the sleeves! This pattern seems to be doing that. To continue, do I continue increasing before and after the markers. When do I stop increasing. What happens to the left and right fronts and the back! Please elaborate. Thank you. son@mweb.co.za
I was a bit confused at first too. But I just kept going, the pattern does work. I think it helps to know that the pattern in knit from the neck down.
