Hello everyone! Check out the new hat I've been working on. I wanted to make a bear hat and I was thinking about The Simpsons episode where Mr. Burns lost his beloved teddy bear, Bobo, which was a symbol of his lost childhood (reminiscent of Citizen Kane). I thought that it was funny how everyone can somehow relate to a teddy bear or stuffed animal they once had as a child, and it didn't matter how much it cost, how big or small, it is like the teddy bear chooses you to love, not the other way around. For example, my daughter had to pick a teddy bear to bring to school for a picnic party. Out of all the stuffed things she had, some bigger than her, she chose this little white bear with a green hat and bow tie. I said, "Are you sure you don't want the great big one? Or maybe this cute pinky one?" Nope. Go figure....
Anyways, I am digressing. Back to the hat, very simple yet familiar.
So for today, may I suggest you think about that teddy bear you once had for a moment? Even though it may have been many years ago, I think you will find that it just made you smile again.
